ADD SOME COLOR TO YOUR WINDOW BOXES

Want a great way to add some curb appeal to your home? Add some window boxes with colorful blooms. Using soft-hued fall favorites like dusty miller, ornamental kale, cabbage, pansies and english ivy will make the front of your home pop this fall.

ENTRYWAY GARDEN

Line your entryway, front porch or sidewalk with a colorful collection of gourds, pumpkins and fall container plants. This low-maintenance method minimal skill and can look as if a professional designer did it. Additionally, if any of your plants or pumpkins wilt or rot as the season goes on, just replace them! It’s important to note especially in our area, gourds do best in cool weather.

PLANT A VEGGIE GARDEN

Yes, tomato season is over but that doesn’t mean the whole gardening season is over! Broccoli, carrot beet and kale season is just beginning!

GIVE YOUR CONTAINERS A RUSTIC UPDATE

You don’t need to buy new planters specifically for the fall. All you have to do is wrap your planters in burlap with twine and you’re good to go!

There you have it, just a few easy projects you can tackle over a single weekend that will make your house ready for the fall.
