Fall is officially here! The season of apple picking, chilly weather and pumpkin carving is upon us and we’ve put together some great fall landscaping ideas to help you step into the season in style.

PLANT COLORFUL FLOWERS & PLANTS THAT THRIVE IN COOL WEATHER

Perk up your porch or front yard, and increase your home’s curb appeal, with bright colorful and hearty fall flowers such as mums, asters, marigolds or violas.

These flowers will not only brighten up your home, but they are also very hearty and can withstand the cooler temperatures of fall.

REFRESH YOUR YARD WITH CONCRETE PAVERS AND STEPPING STONES

If you have a large yard, you can use pavers or stepping stones in different colors to break up large grassy areas.

Using concrete pavers is an inexpensive way to make-over your backyard, and with so many different color and texture options, you can have fun and get creative while doing it!

CREATE A COZY SETTING ON YOUR FRONT (OR BACK) PATIO

There are many ways you can take advantage of your patio, even as the colder weather moves in.

You can create a great patio space by using the right furniture, decor and lighting scheme. Bright throw pillows can add a great pop of color and a feeling of coziness.

Keep things warm with outdoor heaters and the right kind of cover, such as a canopy or other enclosure.

WARM UP THE OUTDOORS BY BUILDING A DIY FIRE PIT

If you’re the creative type, why not can build your own firepit? Using the right materials, you can make a DIY Firepit that looks professionally done.

You can even add your own charm to match your house decor, whether rustic or modern. Choose your own stone and check out one of the many tutorials on YouTube to see how to build it correctly with the right tools. This project has the potential to be difficult and dangerous, so you may want to consult a professional before embarking on it.
